eld-dyna, Bachelor Thesis

"eld-dyna" is an oven combined with seating.
Fire warmed air is blown trough the bench. That air is warming the bench and at the same time the room. In living spaces and other meeting places “eld-dyna” becomes the central meeting point for the daily life. The philosophy of the porcelain stove is newly interpreted trough “eld-dyna”.
The fire receives again a central place in today’s living areas. Almost like in old times it’s possible to relax on the oven bench, meet family and friends or for example other guests (i.e. in a hotel lobby). 
The incentive for this creation was the fact that many people spend all evening in front of a screen without speaking and without an appealing place for interaction.
From time immemorial the hearth was the place where important matters were discussed, where people met or relaxed.
"eld-dyna" gives the “porcelain stove feeling” in contemporary form and in a new design.
