1Liaison

“1Liaison” is a paddleboat with a high fun factor. The boat is equipped with an electric motor to drive at higher speed than usual. This paddleboat was developed for Swiss lakes because they are great for leisure activities. 
This one seater boat works almost like a regular paddleboat. You pedal to go forward but there is also a powerful electric motor in the boat that enables to drive faster.
The pedals are connected to a dynamo that leads the electricity directly to the motor. A sensor system measures how strongly and fast you push the pedals and controls how much electricity comes from the battery. The faster you pedal the more electricity is lead to the motor.
The moment the motor is switches on, it feels like an artificial wind blows into invisible sails.
