Skua

“Skua” is a suspended lamp wich is illuminated by sunlight. The lamp is designed for conference rooms and places where people need high concentration.
The sunlight is collected with a parabolic reflector on the roof of a building and conducted trough fiber optics into the building.
In case of no natural light (sun), two fluorescent tubes, which are driven by electricity, switch on. A sensor regulates the electricity so that it uses not more electricity than necessary.
Sunlight can almost not be artificially created; the colours are different in real sunlight.
Some rooms have no windows or it’s not possible to see the sun. The changing light from outside can be read on the lamp so you always know if the sun is shining at the moment or not.
