Torro
In this self initiated project we developed a hybrid between city-vehicle and suv. The main task was to build a car and to advance our ability to build models with clay and the feeling for spaces and sculptured surfaces.
“Toro” is just three meters long, has two seats and has in the proportion to its size a large loading space.
The rear axle extends beyond the vehicle into a shock-absorbing arm. The saved space between the wheels can be used as loading space.
The two outside arms are adjustable in height. In the city they are horizontal, the whole car lies lower, and in uneven terrain the arms can be moved up so that the spring deflexion is higher.
This car combines power and facility. My project partner was Thomas Müller.
